The International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney rests on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.
In First Nations cultures, visitors are traditionally welcomed by a ‘Welcome to country’, which provides an official welcome prior to any event or meeting. Conference delegates will be welcomed in this way at the beginning of this inaugural conference.
ICC Sydney is at the heart of its very own Sydney harbour waterfront precinct. The venue is set amongst restaurants, retail and a vibrant public domain on Darling Harbour, which is only a moment’s walk to Australia’s largest city business district (CBD) and surrounding university and cultural quarters. It is a 30 to 40 minute walk to Australia’s iconic Opera House, or 15 minutes in a taxi. It is located close to Barangaroo Reserve, where delegates can connect with the world’s oldest living culture and the site’s rich history through a hands-on educational tour by one of Barangaroo’s Aboriginal Visitor Services Guides.
Our conference menu will be designed by ICC Sydney chefs in a way that celebrates the very best produce of the State, with ingredients sourced through local supply chains, supporting those beyond the city borders and into regional NSW communities.
Both the venue and conference hosts are committed to providing a venue that is inclusive and equitable, where all feel welcome and have an enjoyable, safe and comfortable experience.
